Rosemary G. Rubin was admitted to practice in the State of Ohio in 1974 and has been practicing law since that time in Canton, Ohio. She began her career at the Stark County Legal Aid Society. In 1978, she became a Trust Officer at The Central Trust Banking Company and continued in that position until 1982. In 1982, Ms. Rubin opened her own law office where she began her career as a family law attorney, as well as practicing in the areas of Probate and Estate Planning. In addition, Rosemary is a court appointed mediator and has been since 1991.
Ms. Rubin is an active member of both the legal and general Canton community. She has held several offices in the local Stark County Bar Association, including a term as its President from June 1 991 to June 1992. Also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, she has been involved in several committees, including The Joint Task Force on Gender Fairness, Council of Delegates, Chairman of The Joint Task Force on Parenting Issues, and the Family Law Committee.
She has been involved in several community organizations, including Leadership Canton, Jewish Community Federation, Canton Urban League Board Member, Pyramid Board Member, and the Canton Symphony Orchestra Board. Rosemary was a graduate of the first class of Leadership Canton and received the Young Leadership Award in 1984 from the Canton Jewish Community Federation.
Concentrating her practice on family law, Rosemary Rubin quickly became known for her zealous representation of both men and women in the family law arena. In 2004, Rosemary became a Family Law Specialist, certified by the Ohio Supreme Court.
